:::SALVA>>COMPLEX HOUSING:::

It has been far too long since the release of Salva's amazing debut LP, "Complex Housing." I am slacking. It has pretty much been on constant repeat in my life since I got it. The kind of repeat where you literally start the album over four times in a row, and never feel bored. Salva's freshmen release is like a codeine-fuelled trip through a disco-funk paradise in a the passenger seat of a '74 Bonneville with the trunk rattling and Salva is the driver! Straight up. Believe me when I tell you that this album is a truly unique ride over bubbly baselines and synths that nearly slash the tires. Salva shows you right out the gate that he is a serious badman and is definitely not to be fucked with. He continues this journey across numerous musical landscapes and the ride is as smooth as the leather seats. He receives vocal help on the only collaborative track, 40Karats, by eccentric future-funk crooner Zacky Force Funk. He also enlisted a crew of multitalented artists for remix duties; Lazer Sword's Lando Kal, Machinedrum, My Wet Dry Mess and Frite Nite [Salva's Label] signee B. Bravo. This album could not come more highly recommended by me and everyone I know. Please, buy it and support one of San Francisco's most talented and promising artists. Tell all your friends.
